Cheesecake Factory Haunting

This Easter in 2015, I embarked on a long car trip to the camping grounds of Jondaryn Woolshed. It was here that I was going to spend my Easter weekend with my family and relatives. We got up to a few things during this holiday, such as a freezing cold swim in the lake, an easter egg hunt, a disco in the woolshed and some farm animal feeding sessions, but the main highlight of my trip was the Cheesecake factory.
Inside, the first room to walk into is a very small room with boxes, but when you take three steps forward you come into the real deal. The main room is what you would've stepped into. It's very spaced out, on the walls it describes what utilities did what, what they were used for, why the workers needed them etc. There is also a large vertical glass cabinet that when you go in and look down on you'll find small objects on display that are way too old to be used in today's time.
The next room is full of paintings, sculptures and other old objects on display. This room really brings out the history of the place. It was just a room with a large table with stuff and things on it, and other stuff and things hanging on the walls. If you're not a history fan, then this room is pointless.
Finally, when you go back to the large room, you'll find a very creepy old looking wooden door labelled 'Cheese Room'. The door is locked, but you can unlock from the outside. If you ever get a chance to visit, I recommend you don't go inside. It's a creepy room full of shelves with yet again, old objects on display but it's creepy to think that these old objects were once edible.
It sounds a little crazy that this was the highlight of my trip, but what if I said it was abandoned, built in between the 1800s and the 1900s, is a museum full of cobweb filled rooms and wax mannequins and is incredibly creepy at night? It paints a whole different picture in your mind rather than a fun-filled cheesecake factory.
My cousins and I decided it would be cool if we went inside at night. It was easier said then done, which didn't surprise me at all after the long walk from our campsite to the factory. It was located at the far end of Jondaryn, a large wooden building, no windows and the only way in and out is an old wooden door. At night it's impossible to see anything inside without a torch. So from a distance you can see nothing but black in the doorway.
I'm the bravest out of my cousins, so I was the one to go in first. I only went in with one of my older cousins, who was probably as creeped as I was. We slowly approached the door, took deep breaths and stepped inside. If you've been a position like this, you'd know that it is vry difficult to keep going, even though you know nothing's inside. Your mind can really convince you that something dangerous is inside, even though you knoe that it's not true.
My cousin and I were about to step into the main, large room until we heard a small bang come from deep inside. Probably a bird or possum or the wind, but the intensity built up the deeper we got and as soon as that bang went off, we took off with no hesitstion. We ran a good 75 metres away from that place until we stopped to catch our breaths.
We told the cousins who stayed back what happened and they said it was creepy and that we should head back. I told them I didn't want to, and being the family that we are, we have each others backs so they all stayed with me. However this time I was the only one to approach the door. They all watched me eagerly to see what would happen, and when I had the chance to scare them even more, I seized it.
I took off again towards them and again we ran the hell away from there. Once we stopped, I told them that the door randomly moved half way shut. Of course it didn't happen but they believed me and like I planned, they were extremely creeped out.
A few more approaches, I got to the door and if you know me, as brave as I may seem I don't go into places like that in the middle of the night alone. I turned around and walked back.
Now I know this may be hard, or even impossible, to believe but one of my cousins has a sort of 'gift' at seeing spirits. She doesn't joke about this sort of thing, she's always dead serious. When I walked back she said she saw a hand reach out from the doorway and then disappear back into the darkness.
All I said to that was, "just another reason why i don't wanna go alone". So we all left. We did go back with some of the adults back at the campsite, but of course when we went in, there was nothing. But of course we went in without hesitation this time because who doesn't feel safe with an adult?
Not much of a haunting I know, but when you consider the fact that people would have actually died in that factory when it was operational is a bit creepy. If you're a believer in spirits, how would you explain that bang? Or better yet and object falling off of a shelf from the 'Cheese Room' on its own?
